How to measure your pond
You need three numbers, in feet. Measure the top of the pond, not the bottom.
- 1Length: across the top, from edge to edge, on the longer side.
- 2Width: across the top on the shorter side.
- 3Depth: from the top edge down to the deepest point.
Sheet size we cut
Sheet length = length + (2 × depth) + 3 ft Sheet width = width + (2 × depth) + 3 ft
The extra 1.5 ft on each edge goes into a trench around the pond to hold the liner in place.
Example: a pond 40 × 30 ft and 6 ft deep needs a sheet of 55 × 45 ft.

Questions people ask
Which thickness should I buy for a farm pond?
200 GSM for a farm pond, fish pond or biofloc tank. It is thicker, tears less and lasts longer in the sun. 150 GSM is fine for a small or short-term pond. 120 GSM is for covers, not ponds.
What if I measure wrong?
Before it is made, we call you and go through the size with you. If anything looks off, we fix it then. Because every sheet is made to order, we can't take it back once it is made to the size you confirmed.
How long does it take?
It is made in 2 to 4 days after we confirm your size. Then it comes to our godown in Chettukuzhy, Idukki, and we call you to fix a time to collect it. If you choose transport, we tell you the charge and the expected time on the call.
Do I have to pay the full amount now?
No. Pay 50% now and the rest when you collect it. You can also pay the full amount now if you prefer.
Is the sheet one piece?
Yes. The joins are welded at the factory, so you get one sheet with no stitching.
Can I see the material before I order?
Yes. Call or WhatsApp us and we will meet you at our godown in Chettukuzhy, Idukki so you can see the thickness for yourself. Or we can send photos on WhatsApp.
